Two big changes which meant new adventure and exploring a new city and country but also a lot of organising and administrative stress. we had to find a new routine and start new activities and that can be a bit of a challenge in the middle of the winter.
Our youngest daughter stayed behind in Holland and from the moment we left she had one illness after the other, keeping us on tender hooks. The end of April she had a (planned) operation and I flew over to look after her. Between smothering her with TLC, I suddenly had plenty of time to paint, watch silly TV programs, meet up with friends and go for walks on the beach. (in Holland summer is often that one week in May, when nobody expects it :))
I felt like i was fluttering about like a butterfly, carefree and weightless and with the painting I decided to experiment with decals and stamps. And this is the result.
I think I should do more fluttering........
